Business jet completions provider Greenpoint Technologies, which last year delivered the world’s first VIP interior completion on a Boeing 787-8, has signed a contract for another pair of 787 VIP interior completions, including the industry’s first 787-9. The interiors will be laid out by Greenpoint’s design team, in partnership with the unidentified customer.
“Our clients know the complexity of these programs and the challenges they present,” noted Bret Neely, executive vice president of the Washington-state-based company. “Our on-time delivery performance and more than 315,000 hours of 787 engineering design and development experience assure our clients we will perform.”
A Zodiac Aerospace subsidiary, Greenpoint has three decades of experience in turnkey VIP completions with a 99 percent on-time delivery rate. The full-service shop embodies all disciplines in-house from design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, certification and post-delivery support of custom aircraft interiors.
