Boeing receives orders for 30 737's

Boeing took orders for 30 737 planes in the week that ended October 12, the plane maker said on Thursday.

The orders were from unidentified customers.

The 737 is the company's best-selling model, and is priced at USD$51.5 million to USD$87 million each, based on 2008 figures from the company's website.

Boeing has logged net orders for 422 commercial planes this year.
