Asiana A380 rolls out of paint shop!

I know I am behind on this report as these images were released last week but I think that the Asiana A380 is just gorgeous. I can hardly wait to see these aircraft at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX/KLAX) later this year.

Asiana Airlines’s first Airbus A380 aircraft has emerged from the paint shop in Hamburg, Germany.

The aircraft will now have its cabin completed and undergo ground and flight tests in Hamburg, says Airbus. This round of tests will focus on cabin systems such as air conditioning, lighting, galleys, lavatories, and the in-flight entertainment system.

The aircraft will subsequently return to Toulouse where it will be prepared for delivery in the second quarter of 2014.

Asiana Airline's has firm orders for six A380 aircraft. It will initially use the type on regional routes before commencing long-haul services to the USA.
