Gates to be renumbered at Orange County Airport (SNA/KSNA)

Passenger gates and baggage carousels in John Wayne Airport's Thomas F. Riley Terminal will be renumbered, effective Tuesday, May 17, 2011, in preparation for the opening of Terminal C in November 2011. Existing gates and baggage carousels are being renumbered now to prepare for the addition of six new gates, three new baggage carousels and two new commuter terminals.

Gates 1A, 1B and 1C will be located in the North Commuter Terminal. The first commercial passenger gate will be Gate 2 (previously Gate 14). Gates will be numbered sequentially from north to south with Gates 16A and 16B operating from the South Commuter Terminal.

Baggage carousels will also be renumbered from north to south. Carousels 1 and 2 will be located in Terminal A and Carousels 3 and 4 in Terminal B.

Airlines will adjust their electronic ticketing system and boarding passes will be printed with updated gate numbers. All airlines will continue to operate from the same physical ticket counters and gates they do today.

The Airport will have volunteers and staff available to assist passengers and visitors to the Airport in finding gates and baggage claim areas. No interruptions in service are expected. For more information, passengers may refer to the map above or contact the Airport at www.ocair.com or by calling 949.252.5200.
