VASP MD-11 (48744/592) PP-SPK taxies towards a Rwy 24L departure at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX/KLAX) in February 1998. This beautiful DAC "Heavy" was delivered to the carrier on November 17, 1995 ex DAC N6203U with whom it served until it was repossed by leasing company Golden Gate Leasing Ltd on April 25, 2000 WFU and stored at Victorville (VCV/KVCV) California. United Parcel Service (UPS) bought the aircraft on April 30, 2001 and converted it to an MD-11(F). This lovely lady still serves with UPS as N251UP.(Photo by Michael Carter)
