(Photos by Michael Carter)A rare visit today at Long Beach Airport (KLGB) as Royal Air Force VC-10 C1K (cn 834) XV104 / U callsign "Ascot 2501 Heavy" made a brief stop arriving at 15:56 PST and parking at the Signature Flight Service ramp. Spending just 20 minutes on the ground the VC-10 departed at 16:16 PST bound for Travis AFB in Northern California.
