Stopped by Long Beach Airport (LGB/KLGB) on the home from LAX this afternoon (01/04/2011) to nail the inbound Miami Air flight and for a bonus captured Dexters (lead singer of the Offspring) Citation CJ2.
Miami Air 737-81Q (30619/856) N733MA "Elaine" arrived from Nashville (BNA/KBNA) at 15:47 as "Biscayne 387" departing later at 17:05 bound for Denver (DEN/KDEN) as "Biscayne 578."
Cessna 525A Citation CJ2 (c/n 525A-0178) N7715X climbs from Rwy 30. The aircraft is owned and operated by the lead singer from local SoCal band "The Offspring."(Photos by Michael Carter)

I work in a building right at the beginning of the runway on Clark and Airport Plaza Drive. I always see this Jet and wondered who flew it. Good to know.
