Natural gas Line broken at SNA
This morning at 7:30 am, a 2-inch natural gas line was broken on the Central Utility Plant construction site. Airport Operations, Airport Police Services and the Orange County Fire Authority worked quickly to secure the site, including temporary closure of the lower level roadway. The gas line has been shut off and all Airport operations have returned to normal.
The Oasis Restaurant in the Riley Terminal will be open, but will not be able to serve their full menu until the gas line has been repaired which is anticipated later today.
