New York-based JetBlue Airways (B6) and Beijing-based Air China (CA) have announced a interline partnership connecting their networks at New York JFK and Los Angeles (LAX), Calif., and a carrier based in the rapidly expanding Chinese market.

If approved by the government, CA this fall will place its code on B6 flights.
B6 president and CEO Dave Barger said the Chinese market “continues to be a key portion of the global economy, and so we look forward to connecting business and leisure travelers between both of these well-developed networks."

CA president and CEO Jianjiang Cai said the partnership “will strengthen both our networks and benefits travelers of both countries."
